Abundius the Sacristan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Abundius the Sacristan
Saint Abundius the Sacristan (also Abonde, or, variously, Acontius) (died c. 564) was a sacristan of the Church of Saint Peter in Rome. His holy life was reportedly an inspiration to all who knew him. Saint Gregory the Great wrote a story of his life. He is reported as having miraculously healed someone of gout by his prayers.〔Holweck, F. G., ''A Biographical Dictionary of the Saints''. St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co. 1924.〕 ==Veneration== The Roman Martyrology lists Abundius briefly on his feast day, April 14, which is kept as a major feast at Saint Peter's.
